About Joyalty Media

A youth-led collective telling stories that matter

Who We Are

Joyalty Media is a youth-led media collective based in Nairobi, founded by young photographers and storytellers who believe in the power of images to create change.

We work with youth organizations, NGOs, and young entrepreneurs to document their impact, develop young talent, and create visual narratives that inspire action.

Our team brings together photographers, videographers, storytellers, and producers—all under 30, all passionate about using media as a tool for social good.

Why Photography & Youth Work Together

Photography democratizes storytelling. You don't need expensive equipment or years of formal training to tell powerful stories. You need perspective, intention, and access.

Young photographers bring fresh eyes, cultural understanding, and lived experience to documentation. When youth lead storytelling, the narrative shifts. Suddenly, communities see themselves reflected in their own stories.

At Joyalty, we believe young voices are essential to change-making. We invest in photographers aged 16-30, provide mentorship, create paid opportunities, and build platforms for their work.
